Remote Position
Roadway Asset Services, LLC (RAS) is a pavement management firm that specializes is collecting large volumes of sensor data and imagery to assess the condition of roads across the United States. We are looking for a talented, self-starter, and critical thinker who loves to work with GIS data, solves problems, insists on quality work, and is excited to present solutions to our clients.
GIS tasks include, updating and creating databases and shapefiles of project results, primarily with QGIS and ArcGIS Pro,
Creating online content through ESRI ArcGIS Online and Power BI,
Processing and evaluating pavement and ROW data from the collection process,
Operating the Roadway Asset Collection (RAC) vehicle on a rotational basis,
Working with a Sr. Engineer to process needed data for project delivery, may include developing and documenting standard procedures.
Analyzing pavement conditions, including rating of roadway sections using the PCI system (ASTM D6433)
Analyzing pavement budget scenarios using a variety of Pavement Management Software such as Cartegraph, Pavement Express, Lucity, or Paver.
Working with a Sr. Engineer to develop pavement maintenance recommendations.
Writing project reports utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including graphs and tables of results,
Coordinating project meetings, schedules, and work for multiple projects
Presenting condition data results and / or analysis results to clients.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM

Requirements: Bachelor?? degree in engineering, GIS, or similar field of study preferred.
