Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.

Warehouses, Parking Lots, Loading Docks

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Responsibilities
??Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
??Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
??Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop budgets and timelines.
??Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating and project management tasks.
??Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
??Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
??Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients.
??Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.

Skills
??Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices.
??Proficiency in construction management software, particularly HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
??Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
??Solid understanding of project management methodologies within the construction industry.
??Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on financial implications.
??Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
??Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting to stakeholders.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
